Matt Blasberg

General Manager and Founder

Matthew handles sales, rentals, and business development. Originally from NJ, with a mixed work background of banking, hospitality, and a management degree from Rutgers University. Matthew first came to Jaco in 2001. Immediately captivated by the Costa Rica lifestyle, tropical natural, and friendly people, his vision was formed to make a new life here. Years later, Costa Rica Private Homes is the result of that vision. Matthew feels that working with guests, homeowners, associates, and community, is a great privilege and an opportunity for constant learning and improvement. He believes the most important asset to CRPH is the team and community. “We want to do our best and be proud of what we do, knowing we can create value for others and succeed together”. Aside from work, Matthew enjoys surfing, golf, and being outdoors.

Laura has been living in Jaco since 2005 and is our local pro at customer service. Her work background is mostly in tourism and restaurants. She is friendly, agile, and solution-oriented. Through her qualified local connections and personalized service, she ensures that all of our guests and clients enjoy the best possible experience. Laura brings tremendous value and motivation to all members of our team. She has a super positive spirit and communicates our vision of excellence.

Accounts Manager

Maria has been with CRPH since the beginning. She is a powerful resource for navigating the business waters of Costa Rica. Maria is formally certified in public accounting from Castro Carazo University, with a further specialization in taxes from TEC (Tecnológico de CR). She is always sharpening her skills and continuing her education. She stays up to date on accounting, banking, and legal issues. Currently, Maria is also studying international accounting at the University of CR to provide broader services to our clients. She is always available for a consultation.
